BHS® awarded a grant from the Francis A. and Adeline M. Sines Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Broward
On behalf of Broward Housing Solutions (BHS), a very special thank you to our friends and partners, whom once again helped support the mission of Broward Housing Solutions’ affordable housing programs. This gift was made possible by a grant from the Francis A. and Adeline M. Sines Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Broward.
Generous funding will continue enhancing the lives of our low-income residents and their families who struggle with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). BHS®’ mission is to provide safe, permanent and affordable housing opportunities to meet the needs of lower income or homeless persons with disabilities who also have a mental illness. The 386-total residents we serve include homeless Veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Foster Youth (18-23 years old) aging out of foster care, homeless Seniors (55+), UnaccompaniedAdults and Families who are now living in stable and affordable housing.
