Established in April 2016, Senior Solutions, via funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered through Broward County’s Continuum of Care (CoC), offers independent, permanent, and affordable housing for chronically homeless seniors, who have been diagnosed with a Severe Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and other disabling conditions. Tenants have the freedom to choose their housing through BHS®-approved, third party landlords.
