Broward II

Another affordable housing program we offer is Broward II which provides independent, permanent, supportive and affordable housing through relationships that BHS® has with third party landlords. Once referred to us via Broward County’s HMIS/Service Point and enrolled into this program, chronically homeless and/or low-income tenants, diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and other disabling conditions, are empowered to locate their own apartment within Broward County, in which to live.

Broward II is supported by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered through Broward County’s Continuum of Care (CoC), enabling Broward Housing Solutions® to provide affordable housing to tenants (and their family) at only 30 percent (30%) of their gross monthly income.
