Community Foundation of Broward
The root cause of homelessness is the lack of affordable housing. Broward Housing Solutions’
(BHS’) strategic approach couples affordable housing with supportive and stabilization services. This proven method ensures that residents are provided the resources needed to succeed far beyond housing by arming tenants with the tools necessary for self-sufficiency and independent living. The outcome: BHS continues providing housing services to clients and their family to remain housed while becoming financially empowered to earn more income, keep their income and, grow the possibilities of becoming more economically sound.
Generous funding from The Celia Lipton Farris and Victor W. Farris Foundation Home Community Fund of the Community Foundation of Broward Community Foundation of Broward will be used to support BHS’ Affordable Housing program.
