“Welcome home David” said Broward Housing Solutions®’ Housing Specialist, Rebekah. Following several years of homelessness while on our waiting list, David and community provider, BCVES (Broward County Elderly and Veteran Services) collaborated to secure an affordable rental unit with BHS®.
When asked his advice to others in his challenging predicament, David said: “KEEP the FAITH, and always stay focused on what you want to accomplish because it will all be worth it in the end.” Safely housed, David can now begin his stabilization, recovery and eventually reintegrate back into society becoming a contributing member of our community.
