Broward II

Program Banners-BII

Our federally-funded program, Broward II offers independent, permanent, and affordable housing through third party landlords. What does this mean? Once enrolled into this program, homeless tenants, diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) are empowered to locate their own apartment within Broward County, approved by BHS® of course, to live in.

This program is sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and provides Broward Housing Solutions ® the ability to offer affordable, subsidized rents to each tenant and their family, based on only 30 percent of their gross monthly income.
